Diesel SPA is an Italian clothing company, located in Breganze, Italy. Breganze is a town in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy, which is in northern Italy. The children’s clothing line is known as Diesel Kid. 

The founder of Diesel, Renzo Russo, began stitching jeans on a sewing machine at the age of fifteen. He used his mother’s sewing machine to produce low-riding, bell bottomed jeans, which he would wear himself and sell to his friends for 3500 lira a piece (around $2.50 in U.S. dollars at the time). In 1996, Diesel opened large flagship stores in New York City, San Francisco, Rome, and London. Diesel continues as a world leader in the youth, casual clothing fashion industry.
