Spitfire Designer Profile

The Spitfire kids designer collection is produced by Defra Srl, headquartered in Naples, a metropolitan city in southern Italy.  It creates casual garments for children perfect for school and leisure time. This company has been manufacturing Italian designer clothing for children since 1980.

The spitfire logo and brand comes from the legendary warplane of World War II, the Supermarine Spitfire. It tipped the balance in favor of the British Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain and was an important factor in defeating Hitler’s desire for global conquest.

The plane is used to remind people to “look up”.  Many of us now spend most of the time looking down, staring at the screens of our cell phones.  “Look up” means to look to the sky, living life as a protagonist!

The Spitfire collection offers a wide range of fall-winter and spring-summer essentials such as sweatshirts, sweaters, t-shirts, baby pants, cardigans, hooded sweatshirts, shorts, etc.
